There’s a prayer that is used in Anglican liturgy, called the Collect For Purity. Inclusion of this prayer in public worship was in large part a reminder to the king, that there was a greater King,…and a reminder that we are all human.
In my devotional life I read from different sources, but three seem to be ones that I often come back to. First is the BIBLE. Second is Oswald Chambers’ MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST, and third A GUIDE TO PRAYER.
Sin is like a human condition in the health problem sense - we all have it as part of our humanity. We all do it; just part of being human. PRAYER is also a condition. It is a condition of being a Christian.
