BIOGRAPHY
Over the last 20 years Jon Buller has contributed an eclectic and growing catalogue of music to the artistic landscape of Canada. In recent years his singles have found their way onto Christian Radio charts just as they have onto Spotify playlists and mobile devices! That includes 11 recording projects and four hit singles including the original Christmas song GLORIA, his popular cover of Juno winner Steve Bell’s COMFORT MY PEOPLE, a soaring original anthem entitled PSALM 145 (Amen), and most recently an up-tempo rendition of the popular worship song DO IT AGAIN.
Buller who is also a Juno-nominated recording artist is celebrating the release of not one, but two full-length recording projects, Come Awake and Different Now. In contrast to the rich acoustic and textured sounds of Come Awake, Different Now is stylistically diverse, with anthemic and ambitious musical arrangements and instrumentation. It also includes appearances by GRAMMY nominated rap artist Fresh.i.e and CCMA award winner Raquel Cole.
Buller has received critical acclaim including a Juno nomination for his CD Sinner and the Saint, and 2 Covenant Awards, for Praise and Worship Song of the Year (Lord of Every Thing - 2006) and Traditional Album of the Year (the Hymn Project - 2008). He also won first place for Song of the Year and Worship Song of the Year for the congregational favourite SING HIS SONG from praisecharts.com in 2014.
